Professional-Only Next Generation Two-Step Coating

Developed over a number of years using the Japanese ‘Kaizen’ concept of continuous improvement through small changes, ENREI Coat is a next-generation two-step coating.

Developed and manufactured by Japanese car care manufacturer Kamikaze Collection, ENREI Coat is their flagship sealant and the name ENREI, is derived from a combination of two words, EN (gloss) and Rei (glamorous beauty). There’s no question: ENREI Coat delivers truly outstanding gloss levels! At the same time, ENREI Coat provides lasting protection from the elements and its unique formulation makes it less prone to water spotting – a common problem for many ceramic sealants.

How It Works:

No.1 Base Primer Coat: A unique feature of ENREI Coat is the organic polysiloxane-based base coat which acts as a primer, exploiting the molecular matrix of the clear coat, penetrating it to form strong cross-linked chemical bonds. The base coat also leaves an increased number of molecules on the surface, increasing the potential bonding sites for the top layer.

No.2 Top Surface Coat: The second coat is inorganic siloxane-based, containing smaller molecules with a high affinity for the molecules in the base layer. This ensures a stronger and importantly, more condensed bond, the combination of which prevents the water spotting issue often associated with ceramic sealants.

Directions for use:

Kamikaze Collection has spent a significant amount of time developing the correct application procedure in order to ensure ENREI performance is optimised. It is, therefore, essential the procedure is followed precisely.

No. 1 Base Primer Coat:

• Apply Base Coat Primer using the supplied applicator cloths.
• Apply slowly in straight lines, NOT a criss-cross pattern. The straight-line application lays down a thick, even coat, so the layer is uniform. Criss-crossing will cause unevenness in the layer. Therefore, at the same temperature and humidity conditions, different parts of the layer will cure at different rates and the final performance will not be as effective.
• Allow 3-5 minutes (depending on the ambient temperature and humidity) for the layer to cure, until it becomes ‘tacky’ to the touch. (optimum temperature 15°c – 25°c, humidity 40%-70%).
• Buff the layer using a circular motion.
• Wait for 1-2 hours (depending on ambient temperature and humidity) before applying ENREI Top Coat.

No.2 Top Surface Coat:

• Apply using a straight-line motion.
• Allow 5-10 minutes (depending on the ambient temperature and humidity) for the layer to cure.
• Buff the layer using a circular motion.
• Within 1-2 hours the coating will be dry, however, allow 24 hours before taking the vehicle outside and exposing it to the elements.
• ENREI will be fully cured within 72 hours.
